Investigate how the people of God are people on the move.
You might do a word study on terms like sojourners. You could also refer to stories of third culture people. In addition, here are some passages throughout salvation history regarding the people on the move.

Creation: “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth” (Genesis 1:1-2:3, especially 1:26-31)
Abram: “Go… to the land that I will show you” (Genesis 12:1-9)
Feast of Tabernacles: “your generations may know that I made the people of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt” (Leviticus 23:33-43)
Exiles: “seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile” (Jeremiah 29:4-7, 11-14)
Great Commission: “Go there and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19)
Pentecost: “we hear them telling in our own tongues the mighty works of God” (Acts 2:11)
Cloud of witnesses: “they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one.” (Hebrews 11:12-16)
Heaven: “the dwelling place of God is with man” (Revelation 21:1-4)
